Terms of Service

1. What L2 Revenant is

L2 Revenant is a non-commercial private Lineage II server operated by fans on a not-for-profit basis. Lineage II is a registered trademark of NCSoft Corporation. This project is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by NCSoft.

By creating an account, downloading the client or connecting to the server you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old. If you are a minor, you need permission from your parent or legal guardian.
• One account per person for the Legacy Points and Rankings system. Additional accounts are allowed for non-competitive use (mule, craft).
• You may not use the service if you have previously been banned from the project.

3. Prohibited conduct

• Cheating: use of bots, external macros, packet scripts, wall-hacks, speed-hacks, coordinated PvP multi-boxing (more than two accounts in the same event or siege).
• Bugs and exploits: exploiting server errors for economic or mechanical advantage. Report bugs on the forum or Discord; we reward it.
• RMT (Real Money Trade): selling or buying accounts, adena, items or farming services for real money is prohibited. Donations go to the project, not to players.
• Harassment: zero tolerance for racism, hate speech, threats, doxing or sexual harassment. Includes chat and forum.
• Impersonation: do not pretend to be a GM, staff member or another player.

4. Penalties

Penalties range from warning to permanent ban with loss of character, items and Legacy Points. We decide case by case. We do not refund donations from sanctioned accounts.

5. Account and security

You are responsible for your password. Never share it. Staff will never ask for your password via chat, forum, Discord or email. If you suspect a compromise, change the password from your panel.

6. Donations

Donations cover server, domain, development and community costs. You receive LP (Legacy Points) or cosmetic items in exchange. Donations are voluntary and non-refundable unless the service is permanently shut down within 7 days of the donation.

Payments processed by Stripe. L2 Revenant does not store card numbers. See the Privacy Policy.

7. Content ownership

All Lineage II client content belongs to NCSoft. Our own development (server code, balance patches, launcher, website) is licensed under the original L2jMobius terms. Revenant's own skins, logos and art belong to the project.

8. Service provided "as is"

The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uptime, absence of bugs, project continuity or indefinite preservation of characters and items. We run daily backups but are not liable for losses due to hardware failure, software failure or third-party intervention.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is material we announce it on the forum and Discord with at least 14 days' notice. Continuing to use the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
